Do I got what it takes to be a college safety?

Well at my school, I start as a strong safety.

I am 5’8.5 and i weigh 176 pounds
My 40 time is 4.61
I got like 30-45 tackles last year
What colleges do i have a chance at?

(Ill prolly gain a lot of muscle by the time my senior year is over.) Im only 15.

you can go to any college as long as you keep up the good workout but be the star of your team and make sure you go to the playoffs and championship games so you can impress scouts

Your really small but you didnt list any lifting maxes. You cant tell based on amount of tackles and 40 time. do you have good grades, if you dont have good grade your not getting in anywhere good.

You made that many tackles as a safety? That doesn’t say much about your defense.

The bottom line is this: Only 1 in 100 HS football players ever play in college. So, if you want to be a safety you have to be the best on your team and probably every other team you play from now until your senior year. You’ll have to be the number one in your league and get all-state honors. If you can do that, and you have good grades, you’ll probably play in college.

BTW, get into the NCAA Clearinghouse so make sure your academics are up to snuff.
