a question about Bates college…?

i just visited Bates, and loved it. the only concern i had was that the surrounding area of Lewiston/Auburn seemed a little impoverished and “sketchy” as my brother put it. i also noticed there was a ton of security around the campus. Do you feel safe at Bates, and when you go into Lewiston?

Lifehouse jamming Somebody Else’s Song at Wabash College. I tried to avoid getting the security guards in the video-there was crowd surfing the whole concert and the guards were all over the place.

Does the college campus security guard have the right to search the dorms without a warrant?
